About

The Blackwell Ranch was established in 2015 when we purchased our first ranch style home in NWA. It was a complete "fixer-upper," channeling our inner Chip and Joanna, we made it into our little farmhouse. Though we only had 1/2 acre of land, we made the most of it fostering puppies and welcoming in any stray until we found them a loving home. Due to some rezoning of the empty 23-acre field next to us, we decided to sell our home and buy a new construction home. Being raised on a 200-acre cattle farm in SW Missouri, I was determined to bring the suburban farmhouse alive again! In our Blog section, you will find projects that I am working on, the places I go and the cool things I find. We are blessed to have a sweet/crazy little boy and 3 Goldendoodles who love follow him around.

After raising and breeding Pembroke Welsh Corgis for 13 years back in Missouri, we welcomed our first Goldendoodle to our home. We knew that we wanted a Goldendoodle because of their sweet temperament and cute look. We quickly found out that there were not many Goldendoodle breeders in our area and the demand was so high that the ones that were here, had a mile long waiting list. After having Rosie for a few months, we knew that we wanted to provide other families the opportunity to have these great companions and year later, we welcomed Reese and Rein to family!

Rosie, Reese, and Rein are raised in our home and are part of our family. We take a lot of pride in bringing top-notch Goldendoodles who are loved on and pampered from day one. All puppies will come with a "New Home" package, a one-year health certificate, a spay or neuter contract and will have started (if not mastered) crate training.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, we hope to add you to The Blackwell family!

Meet the Parents

Rosie is an F1 Standard Goldendoodle. She is 55lbs and was born Memorial Day weekend of 2017. Rosie is one of the most loyal companions you will ever find! When she is not snuggled up on the couch with us, she is playing fetch for hours. We like to call her a "Rose Gold" Goldendoodle because she is not quite blonde enough to be apricot and not deep red enough to be a true red. Rosie has a light shed coat.

Reese is an F1B Mini Goldendoodle. He is 18lbs and was born March of 2018. This snuggle-y little teddy bear is the perfect mix of calm and spunky. We have never considered our family to be a "small dog" family, but Reese has completely changed that! Reese has a non-shed coat.

Rein is an F1B Medium Goldendoodle. She is currently 8lbs but is targeted to weigh between 25-35lbs. She was born in November of 2018. Rein joined The Blackwell Ranch Christmas 2018. See any coincidence there, (Rein)deer? She is a beautiful brown merle Goldendoodle, and we are so excited to watch her grow! Rein has a non-shed coat.

We are guessing their puppies will be somewhere between 20-30lbs. We will know more after our first litter in summer 2019.

They have had the following tests completed through Embark:
  • Samples are currently being processed and will be ready in February.
